Position Summary

A Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for leading and managing a crew of 2–5 team members to successfully complete landscape construction and installation projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to executing all work with the following priorities in order:

The Crew Leader sets the tone on every jobsite by providing clear direction, maintaining high workmanship standards, demonstrating strong attention to detail across the entire property, and ensuring all team members operate safely and productively.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Crew Management

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew of 2–5 team members.
• Provide clear direction, daily task assignments, and hands-on training.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.
• Maintain strong attention to detail across the entire property, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients when needed.
• Monitor crew productivity and uphold company performance standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure safe operation of all tools and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company vehicle policies.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and transport of equipment and materials.

Equipment Operation & Transportation

* Safely and proficiently operate landscape construction equipment, including: * + Skid steers + Mini excavators + Other common landscape industry machinery * Load and transport equipment using truck and trailer combinations. * Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections. * Maintain and protect company vehicles and equipment assets.
