Landscape Horticulture Crew Supervisor

Sylvan Gardens Landscape Contractors is looking for an experienced Landscape Horticulture Crew Supervisor with a passion for plant care, landscape craftsmanship, and leading a high-performing team.

Unlike a traditional mowing crew, our Horticulture Crew focuses on the craftsmanship of landscape maintenance—ornamental pruning, seasonal flower displays, mulch installations, plant care, and landscape enhancements. What You'll Do

Lead a 2–4 person landscape detail crew responsible for:

• Ornamental tree and shrub pruning
• Spring, summer, fall, and holiday flower installations
• Spring and fall landscape cleanups
• Mulch installation and bed edging
• Weed management and detailed bed maintenance
• Plant health inspections and basic diagnostics
• Landscape enhancement projects
• Small landscape installations
• Daily crew leadership, quality control, and job planning
• Truck and equipment inspections and routine maintenance
• Snow removal during the winter season

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience leading a landscape crew preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscape plants and pruning techniques
• Experience with seasonal flowers and ornamental landscape maintenance
• Ability to read landscape plans and work independently
