Landscape/Hardscape Supervisor

Position Summary We’re hiring a hands-on Landscape/Hardscape Supervisor to lead crews on-site, perform and oversee installations (pavers, retaining walls, patios, grading, drainage, planting), ensure quality and safety, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role is primarily field-based and requires both supervisory ability and regular physical participation in installations. Key Responsibilities:* Supervise and work alongside crews during landscape and hardscape installations. * Read and interpret plans, set layouts, and ensure installations match drawings and specifications. * Install and troubleshoot pavers, retaining walls, patios, steps, grading, and drainage systems,; plant trees/shrubs and install sod when required. * Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors; ensure timely deliveries and proper staging. * Monitor and adjust schedules; track labor, materials, and daily job progress; report status to project management. * Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site; lead toolbox talks and incident reporting. * Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members; provide hands-on instruction and quality checks. * Prepare simple change order estimates and communicate scope changes to management and clients. * Perform physical labor as needed and step in to complete tasks during tight schedules.

Required Qualifications

* 3+ years of hands-on experience in landscape and hardscape installation; prior supervising or lead role preferred. * Proven skills with pavers, segmental retaining walls, site grading, drainage, planting, and sod. * Ability to read construction drawings, perform layout, and use basic layout tools (stringline, transit/laser, levels). * Plant material identification skills. * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skil...
