Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, including planting, pruning, and general maintenance
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications while adhering to safety protocols
• Assign tasks effectively based on team members’ skills and project priorities to maximize productivity
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of tools and equipment used in landscaping and construction tasks
• Provide hands-on guidance in landscape installation, tree care, gardening, and horticulture practices to ensure best practices are followed
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to management; troubleshoot issues promptly to keep projects on track
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership, mentorship, and clear communication

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related fields with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening techniques, tree care and general landscape construction
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship
• Familiarity with equipment operation and maintenance for landscaping tools and machinery
