Landscape Flex Technician

Duties include, but are not limited to

• Follows instructions given by the crew leader and landscape manager but also has the ability to run a small crew or work independently.
• Properly and safely operates equipment such as skid steer, dingo, chainsaw, and compactor.
• Supporting all project crews as-needed by acting as the flex position.
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production goals.
• Reports to work in a clean uniform and appropriate boots.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies and safety procedures.
• Understand and uphold company standards, “The Sun Valley Way”.

Works closely with: Landscape Division Director, mechanic, supply yard

Direct reports: 0

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-5:00pm, some weekends

Dress Code: uniform

Desired Experience and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape installation work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and physically have full range of motion in upper and lower body.
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends when necessary.
