Position Summary

We’re hiring a Landscape Excavation Foreman to lead daily field execution for excavation and site prep work. This person will run their own crew, operate equipment, keep jobs moving safely and efficiently, and make sure excavation, grading, utility prep, and hardscape base work are completed accurately and cleanly.

This role is a key field leadership position and also supports snow and ice management during the winter season.

What You’ll Do

• Lead your crew each day with a clear plan and strong on-site communication
• Operate excavators, skid steers, and track machines safely and efficiently
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, drainage work, and hardscape base prep
• Maintain safe, clean, organized jobsites
• Track time, materials, and disposal in Synked Up
• Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs quickly
• Coordinate with leadership and other crews to keep projects moving
• Support snow and ice operations during winter events

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience operating excavators, skid steers, and compact track loaders
• Experience with excavation, grading, utility work, drainage, and site prep
• Ability to lead a crew, set pace, and hold a high standard for safety and workmanship
• Strong communication and problem-solving in the field
• Pride in clean, accurate work
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and support snow operations in winter
