Landscape Designer/Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Landscape Designer/Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a balance of design expertise, horticultural knowledge, and field experience. The ideal candidate is capable of managing projects from concept through installation, leading crews, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop landscape designs, planting plans, and site layouts
• Select appropriate plant materials based on climate, soil, and design goals
• Prepare cost estimates, coordinating job materials, and ensure timeliness
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and present design concepts
• Implement and oversee installation and ensure design accuracy

Desired Qualifications

• Degree/Certification or strong background in Landscape Design/Architecture, or related field
• Strong knowledge of desert plants and regional horticulture
• Experience with irrigation systems (design, installation, troubleshooting, and management)
• Experience with landscape lighting and hardscaping materials
• Proven background in landscape installation
• Project management experience with the ability to run a crew and manage timelines
• Experience with estimating and job costing
• Proficiency in design software (ProLandscape is a Plus!)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Portfolio of recent landscape design work (plans, renderings, or project photos) preferred
