Job description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Landscape Designer/Sales professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscape design principles, horticulture, and construction materials. You’ll be responsible for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces while managing client relationships and ensuring successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design aesthetically pleasing, functional outdoor spaces (lawns, patios, water features, etc.)

Utilize design software and hand-drawing skills to produce scaled, detailed drawings

Conduct site analyses (assess plants, soil, lighting, and architecture)

Present, promote, and sell services to clients, meeting sales targets and production goals

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and crews through all phases of projects

Research plant materials, ecological conditions, and market trends

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Design or equal hands on experience.

5+ years of relevant experience in landscape design and sales

Knowledge of horticulture, construction materials, and installation techniques

Proficient in design software

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Valid Driver’s License required

Work Environment

Must be able to traverse undeveloped land and job sites with uneven terrain

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity)

Some physical demands including occasional lifting of 20+ lbs

Compensation

Salary based on experience. Paid time off and use of company vehicle may be available.
