Landscape Crew Person

Johnson’s Nursery is seeking a Landscape Crew Person to assist with spring harvest and work with our landscape crews to install trees, shrubs, evergreens and perennials for residential and commercial landscape projects.

Position Details

* Full-time, seasonal employment. * (March-November), 8-10 hours per day plus Saturdays in spring. Job Description -------------------

* Assist with the spring harvest. * Install trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, mulch, and soil for projects. * Operate small equipment: sod cutter, bed edger, etc. * Drive company trucks and transport trees and other plants. * Work under the direction of the Landscape Crew Foreperson and the Expediter to provide quality landscaping and landscape services. Qualifications ------------------

* No experience is necessary; however, a horticultural or construction background is a plus. * Ability to learn quickly. * Ability to lift and handle 50 to 80 pounds. * Ability to be punctual and hard-working for the entire work shift. * Have a positive, outgoing attitude and a desire to learn about the landscaping industry. * Ability to understand and take instruction from the Landscape Crew Foreperson. Benefits & Compensation ----------------------------

$15.00-$18.00 per hour.
