Job Overview

We are seeking experienced landscape crew members to join our installation & hardscaping team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the foreman to gather and load all materials, equipment and safety gear needed for the day.
• Understand your job plan for the day.
• Utilize knowledge of landscaping to help install new lawns, tree and shrub plantings, pavers, retaining walls and rain gardens.
• Operate equipment including dump truck and trailer, skid steer loader, excavator, saws, blowers, trimmers etc.
• Display proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Follow safety and compliance with OSHA, job location and company safety policies. Help keep yourself and your entire crew safe.
• Communicate effectively with your foreman and other crew members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely job completion.
• Help with end of day clean up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape construction and maintenance and the ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
• Documented experience building retention walls, patios, etc
• Documented experience clearing, grading, planting new lawns
• Ability to run a mini excavator, skid steer, etc or ability to learn
• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs., carry materials and do strenuous labor in all weather conditions
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical. A DOT physical includes a drug test.

This position requires a valid, unrestricted driver's license, the ability to pass a drug screen and background check and complete a PA DOT physical.
