Landscape Construction Estimator

Job Summary

The Construction Estimator is responsible for producing timely, accurate and detailed cost information of landscape projects by evaluating construction sites, plans and specifications. They work closely with the Sales Team, Project Managers, Vendors and Subcontractors. They compile required information, pricing and labor estimates to develop detailed proposals for the sales and operations team. This valued member of the team is an integral part of the success of the operations and profitability of landscape construction projects. This position reports to the Director of Landscape Construction.

Duties/Responsibilities

Managing bid calendar and delivering accurate and detailed proposals Reading and interpreting plans and specifications Reviewing sites and gathering information and data for proposals Completing plan take-offs to gather information and data for proposals Developing estimates and proposals for landscape construction projects within an integrated software management system Communicating with vendors, subcontractors and other stakeholders Working with Business Developers and Project Managers developing budgets, proposals, revisions and value engineering options Providing risk assessment and cost analysis to the operations team as required Requirements:
