Duties

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized spraying equipment to apply landscape chemicals accurately across various sites.
• Prepare chemical mixtures according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines before application.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate chemical treatments needed for pest control, weed management, or lawn care.
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during chemical application to protect yourself, colleagues, clients, and the environment.
• Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, application locations, weather conditions, and any observations during treatments.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and chemicals between job sites efficiently.
• Assist with general landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and soil preparation when needed to support company needs.

Skills

• MDARD CERTIFICATION IN 3A, 3B, 6, 7A AND 7F REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, pest control methods, landscaping principles, and agricultural best practices.
• Experience with sales or customer service to effectively communicate treatment plans and recommendations to clients.
• Proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in landscape maintenance.
