General Maintenance/Groundskeeper

The General Maintenance/Groundskeeper helps ensure that the East Jordan clinic building, grounds, and landscaping are well maintained, safe, clean, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors. This position supports general building repairs, basic plumbing and electrical upkeep, preventative maintenance, safety checks, and year-round groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Site Director, the General Maintenance/Groundskeeper is responsible for completing maintenance and facility needs in a timely, cost-effective, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities include

• Performing general building maintenance and repairs as needed
• Completing lawn care, snow removal, and other landscaping or groundskeeping duties
• Supporting preventative maintenance and routine safety inspections
• Ensuring proper care, maintenance, and safe use of equipment, tools, and supplies
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Communicating effectively with clinic leadership regarding facility needs or concerns
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions, including inclement weather
• Assisting clinic team members when needed in situations involving escalated patient or staff interactions
• Maintaining respect, professionalism, and confidentiality regarding patient activity and clinic operations
• Working well as part of a team and contributing to a respectful, supportive workplace
• Demonstrating professional behavior at all times while on site, including appropriate language, attire, and conduct

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
