Landscape Architecture Project Designer

As a Project Designer at our firm, you will work under the guidance of a supervising Project Manager, Associate, and/or Principal in charge. You will be involved in various aspects of project development, from generating client presentations to preparing comprehensive construction document packages. We encourage and support the enhancement of your graphic and technical abilities to achieve excellence in your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist the project team with drafting, redlines, and preparation of drawings and documents throughout various project phases.
• Technical Drafting: Develop proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software to support the preparation of plans, details, and project documentation.
• Document Preparation: Support the preparation and organization of construction document packages under the direction of the Job Captain or Project Manager.
• Consultant Coordination Support: Assist with organizing and incorporating consultant information into project drawings and files.
• Graphic and Presentation Support: Help prepare basic diagrams, exhibits, and presentation materials for internal reviews and client meetings.
• Quality and Organization: Maintain organized project files and follow established drafting standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Professional Development: Continue developing technical, graphic, and professional skills while gaining exposure to the firm’s project processes and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, graphic design, architecture, or a related field.
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office.
