Landscape Architect

Watershed Progressive is hiring a Licensed Landscape Architect to join our team!

As a Licensed Landscape Architect at Watershed Progressive, you will play a senior role in advancing our mission of “connecting communities with their watersheds through integrated strategies for a healthy, resilient future” through your technical expertise, design leadership, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks related to landscape architecture and water-centered design including site assessments; client and consultant coordination; preparation of construction documents; development of Water Management Plans; and integration of regenerative design strategies such as stormwater management, water reuse, and climate-appropriate landscaping.

About the Position

The ideal candidate has the following experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture;

· Active California Landscape Architect license (required);

· 7+ years of related professional experience;

· Experience leading site planning, landscape design, and construction documentation;

· Experience coordinating with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors;

· AutoCAD: High proficiency in AutoCAD software; Land-FX experience preferred;

· Adobe: Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;

· Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, planting design, and irrigation systems;

· Knowledge of California native plants and regional site conditions;

· Experience overseeing landscape construction administration or design-build teams;

· Excellent, professional oral and written communication skills;

· Ability to be self-motivated while working independently, remotely, or within teams.
