Landscape Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented LANDSCAPE Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various environments. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape design principles, as well as proficiency in relevant software tools. This is an IN-PERSON position, not remote.

Duties

• Develop comprehensive landscape designs for residential projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for outdoor spaces.
• Utilize software such as AutoCad, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and Lumion 3D to create detailed plans and visualizations.
• Draft construction documents and specifications for hardscape elements as well as planting areas.
• Conduct site assessments to analyze environmental conditions and site constraints.
• Coordinate with civil engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with local regulations.
• Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback into final plans.
• Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, ensuring quality control throughout the build process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• At least 3-5 years experience as a Landscape Designer.
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCad, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion 3D, knowledge of plant materials and applicable construction materials, basic understanding of site engineering.
• Strong understanding of hardscape materials and garden design principles.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail in both technical drawings and presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to clients and team members.
