Job Title: Irrigation Technician

Job Summary: The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently to support healthy landscapes and water conservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new irrigation systems, including piping, valves, sprinklers, and controllers
• Inspect and troubleshoot existing irrigation systems for leaks, broken parts, and performance issues
• Adjust system settings for seasonal and environmental needs
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure efficient water use
• Read site plans and blueprints to determine system layout
• Maintain accurate service records and report completed work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and plumbing
• Ability to operate hand tools and small machinery
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
