Irrigation Technician

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair various irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and pumps
• Conduct regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions within irrigation infrastructure
• Adjust watering schedules based on soil science data, weather conditions, and landscape needs to promote optimal plant health
• Operate hand tools, power tools, mini skids w/trencher attachments, CTL's, mini- excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently during system installation or repair projects
• Perform general landscaping to support overall site aesthetics
• Diagnose electrical issues within irrigation controls using diagnostic tools and electrical knowledge
• Collaborate with landscape teams to ensure irrigation is installed according design to ensure the enhancement of plant health and vitality.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment
• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot control panels and wiring issues
• Hands-on experience with irrigation management
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, and construction techniques relevant to irrigation installation and repairs
• Knowledge of irrigation practices related to lawn care and landscaping for sustainable landscape management
