Irrigation Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. Responsibilities

• Install new irrigation systems
• Conduct routine inspections of existing irrigation systems to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions.
• Repair or replace damaged components including valves, sprinkler heads, pipes, and controllers to ensure efficient operation.
• Adjust watering schedules and system settings based on seasonal needs and client specifications.
• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, and planting to support overall site health.
• Operate construction equipment responsibly during installation or repair projects while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and parts used for accurate documentation and future reference.

Experience

• Proven experience working with irrigation systems, lawn care, or landscape maintenance
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair sprinkler components.
• Familiarity with landscaping practices including horticulture principles and general land management.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of horticulture or turf management will be considered an asset.
