Irrigation Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to oversee commercial operations. This role requires high-level technical troubleshooting, component assembly, and occasional system installation. Additionally, it offers reliable year-round work, as the employee will transition to snow-related duties during the winter months.

Responsibilities

* Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain predominantly commercial irrigation systems. * Execute daily technical tasks such as switching heads, managing valves, and wire tracking. * Assemble and install various irrigation system components. * Replace system clocks. * Program advanced irrigation timers, specifically Hydrawise and Centralus. * Report daily to the facility to pick up the company truck and trailer for route execution. * Pivot to snow and ice management tasks during the winter season to maintain year-round employment. * Embrace cross-training and assist with other operational landscaping tasks when necessary.

Requirements

* 3 to 5 years of experience working as an Irrigation Technician. * Strong familiarity with Hunter and Rainbird equipment is highly preferred. * Valid Chauffer’s license with a clean driving record. * Must clear a mandatory background check.
