POSITION SUMMARY-

Nitescapes Lighting & Irrigation is seeking a dependable, motivated Irrigation & Landscape Lighting Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems and low-voltage landscape lighting systems. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, interacting professionally with customers, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

Install, service, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, sprinkler heads, drip irrigation, controllers, pumps, and related components.

Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues, leaks, wiring problems, and controller malfunctions.

Install and maintain low-voltage landscape lighting systems, including fixtures, transformers, wiring, and LED upgrades.

Perform seasonal irrigation startup, inspections, and system adjustments. Conduct landscape lighting maintenance, lamp replacements, fixture adjustments, and system expansions.

Operate hand tools, trenching equipment, and other job-related tools safely.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Communicate professionally with customers regarding recommendations, repairs, and system operation.

Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS-

Experience with irrigation systems, landscape lighting, electrical troubleshooting, or related trades preferred.

Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.

Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.

Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor, including digging, trenching, and carrying materials.

Valid driver's license.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
