Hardscape/Landscape Construction Foreman (Accepting applications for Crew Members as well)

CK Lawn & Landscape, LLC is a growing full-service landscape company that has been in business for nearly 20 years serving the greater Madison area and is looking to grow our team of skilled professionals.

We are currently looking to fill positions within our Hardscape & Projects department. These positions are full time approximately April – December, with snow removal in the winter. Normal work hours are 40-45 hours per week, Monday – Friday. We are looking for qualified or eager to learn individuals with a passion for providing detailed & excellent service to our clients.

Hardscape/Landscape Construction Foreman responsibilities

include organizing & executing hardscape & landscape projects, operating heavy equipment while providing detailed and quality work to our clients. This position will work closely with ownership & management to install quality work within the budget and may also assist with other landscaping tasks throughout the season.

Necessary Skills

• 3+ years’ experience leading a crew on hardscape construction jobs including grading; paver patios; retaining walls; landscape beds and plantings.
• Supervise, train and delegate tasks with crews of 2-4 team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively, document time and material tracking and work with project managers about adjustments needed on projects.
• Operate equipment such as dump trucks, bobcats, excavators, compactors, transits, etc.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all elements of Midwest weather.
• Ability to follow and set standards for quality work, safety and company image.
• Reliable with a willingness to learn.
