Job Duties

• Operate various tools and equipment, including: chainsaws, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, leaf blowers etc.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete
• Assist in the construction of walkways, fences, decks, posts, patios, walkways, retaining walls, firepits, gazebos, pergolas, etc.
• Assist in the installation of irrigation pipes and gauges and electrical work for landscape lighting
• Dig ditches or trenches
• Plant and maintain landscape beds and lawns
• Load and unload materials, tools, equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
• Assist Crew Lead and Crew Foreman with job related tasks
• Comply with all company policies and regulations
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity of work at sites/shop/yard etc.
• Maintain and participate in the standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
• Ensure the highest amount of quality has been delivered to the client on budget and on time
• Snow removal duties will be seasonal

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience of hardscape construction industry
• Valid driver’s license
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various hardscape construction projects
