Job Duties

• Manage the execution of hardscape construction projects, planning labor requirements, equipment requirements, material deliveries and timing to ensure completion of job(s) within project deadlines
• Lead, coordinate, and schedule the day-to-day work activities of the hardscape construction crew including, the loading and unloading of job specific equipment and tools each day
• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities
• Manage safety, quality, and productivity of work at sites/shop/yard etc.
• Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
• Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of project
• Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, skid loader, mini excavator, chainsaws, levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, tampers, cut saws etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning frequently or when requested
• Ensure the highest amount of quality has been delivered to the client on budget and on time
