Hardscape Construction Foreman

Join Neave Group Outdoor Solutions, an award-winning company specializing in commercial and residential hardscape projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Foreman to lead our team in the Hudson Valley, NY area. This is a year-round position, with opportunities for overtime during the busy season and continued work during the winter. As a Construction Foreman, you will oversee a 2-to-3-person crew, ensuring the successful completion of our projects while maintaining budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work closely with crew in the installation of hardscape/construction projects.
• Communicate regularly with project managers on work status, ensuring projects remain within budget.
• Install patios, walkways, boulder walls, retaining walls, plants, drainage, and fire pits.
• Operate heavy machinery such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders.
• Read plans, measure, and layout hardscape features.
• Document and account for materials used.
• Ensure team safety and keep team updated on project progress and budget.
• Encourage, motivate, and lead your crew to successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardscape project installation, including patios, walkways, and walls.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or crew leader experience.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders.
• Valid NYS drivers license; CDL preferred.

Compensation

----------------

The Construction Foreman position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 - $25.00.
