Groundskeeper

This position is responsible for maintaining lawn care and landscaping of grounds inclusive of plowing, shoveling, sweeping, mowing, weeding, planting, trimming, raking and removal of garbage and debris. Responsible for preventive maintenance, repairing, replacing, and maintaining all facilities grounds equipment. Assist with basic repair of items such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems. ### Essential Functions:

• Responsible for maintaining lawn care and landscaping of grounds inclusive of plowing, shoveling, sweeping, mowing, weeding, planting, trimming, raking and removal of garbage and debris.
• Assist with the general maintenance of all facilities on property to include painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, sidewalks, and walls.
• Mix, spray, and/or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees using a hand or automatic sprayer or spreader.
