Groundskeeper / Custodian

Stowe Middle/High School is seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Custodian to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of our exterior grounds, common areas, and outdoor facilities. The ideal candidate thrives working in an outdoor environment, is highly observant, and takes pride in the external presentation of our property.Duties include: Grounds Maintenance: Sweep sidewalks and pathways. Pick up litter and empty outdoor trash receptacles.

Weather Maintenance

Perform manual snow shoveling, apply salt/ice melt to walkways, and operate snow-clearing equipment during winter months. Facility Upkeep: Maintain outdoor athletic fields and recreational spaces, ensuring they are free of hazards. Equipment Care: Safely operate, clean, and perform routine maintenance on outdoor custodial and landscaping equipment.Work schedule is primarily Monday Friday from 6am 2pm; however, during the winter months flexibility will be required for snow removal.Please submit a letter of interest and resume via SchoolSpring or by email to brian.rafferty@lamoillesouth.org
