Groundskeeper

The Karr Group, Killington’s largest hospitality management company, is seeking hardworking, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Groundskeeping Team.

As a Groundskeeper, you will help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our properties. This role is essential to creating clean, attractive, and welcoming environments for our guests and employees. You’ll perform landscaping, seasonal property maintenance, and general outdoor upkeep across multiple Karr Group properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping and property maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, and raking
• Remove trash and debris from grounds and outdoor areas
• Prepare properties for seasonal weather conditions, including leaf removal, snow shoveling, salting, and ice removal
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment such as zero-turn mowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, saws, and sprayers
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and tools
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-kept outdoor spaces across all properties
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Experience operating a zero-turn mower is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
• Strong work ethic with excellent reliability and time management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
