### Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Lead Groundskeeper I, CF, the Groundskeeper, CF, oversees all gardening and general grounds maintenance work; may instruct, lead, or supervise inmates, wards, or resident workers; and do other related work. Maintains security of working area and work materials.

California Medical Facility (CMF), located in a unique spot in Vacaville, CA. Unique as in being surrounded by many areas for family fun, exercise, touristy adventures and more. Approximately 35 miles east of downtown Sacramento, approximately 53 miles west of Pier 39 in San Francisco, and if you want to meet in the middle you can swing by Napa which is approximately 30 miles west. Also located nearby are the Vacaville Outlets for all your shopping needs.
