Groundskeeper

8 hours per day, 12 months per year

Work assignment covers all buildings within the school district

One year of experience as a laborer in park or grounds maintenance activities.

Class B CDL License preferred

• Mows, rakes and cuts grass;
• Plants and cares for trees and shrubs;
• Keeps grounds free of litter;
• Removes snow and ice from walks, pathways and steps;
• Helps to maintain baseball diamonds, football fields, running tracks; and other athletic and recreational areas;
• Marks and lays out sports fields;
• Operates and may perform simple maintenance on a variety of equipment such as trucks, tractors, jeeps, mowers, rollers and other machinery;
• When not working as a groundskeeper may do other routine maintenance or cleaning work.
• Must be a team worker and able to work flexible hours
• Willingness and ability to perform cleaning duties throughout the District.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Pay: $21.32 per hour
