Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician with proven field experience to join our team. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial irrigation systems with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate is confident working in the field, can troubleshoot system issues without step-by-step supervision, and understands how to complete jobs correctly and efficiently the first time.

This is a hands-on field position for someone who already has irrigation experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues including valves, sprinkler heads, piping, wiring, pumps, and controllers
• Perform system inspections, seasonal startups, winterizations, and routine maintenance
• Assist with installation of new irrigation systems and system upgrades
• Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers, including smart irrigation systems
• Identify leaks, clogs, pressure issues, and system malfunctions and complete necessary repairs
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service work and recommendations
• Communicate effectively with the office to ensure all work is accurately documented, recorded, billed, and tracked for scheduling and follow-up
• Maintain accurate service records and job notes
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and professionally in the field
