Experienced Hardscape & Masonry Crew Member

$22–$32+ Per Hour | Full-Time | Sussex County, Delaware

We are a small, family-owned masonry and hardscape company serving Sussex County, Delaware, and we are looking for one experienced construction professional to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position. Prior paid construction experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands the pace of a job site, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can safely use common construction tools without needing basic training.

We are not looking for just another employee—we are looking for the right person to become a long-term part of our team.

What You'll Do

• Install paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces
• Assist with concrete and masonry projects
• Safely operate common construction tools and equipment
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
• Maintain a clean and efficient job site
• Work alongside an experienced craftsman to complete high-quality projects
• Help ensure jobs are completed safely, professionally, and to our customers' expectations

Requirements

Prior construction experience is required.

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Hardscape installation
• Masonry
• Concrete
• Excavation
• Landscaping
• Carpentry
• General construction

Applicants should

• Know how to safely use common construction tools
• Have reliable transportation to job sites throughout Sussex County
• Be dependable and show up on time
• Be able to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• Be comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work
• Take pride in quality workmanship
• Have a positive attitude and work well with a small crew

Pay: $22–$32+ per hour depending on experience, skill level, and ability.

Higher pay is available for candidates with strong masonry, concrete, or hardscape experience who can contribute from day one.
