Estate Groundskeeper & Gardener

A private family estate is seeking a dependable, experienced, and detail-oriented Estate Groundskeeper & Gardener to oversee the care and appearance of a beautifully landscaped 2.5-acre property. This is an opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in creating and maintaining exceptional outdoor spaces and enjoys working independently in a peaceful residential setting.

This position may be structured as either full-time or part-time, with a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the property and the availability of the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate is someone who treats the property as if it were their own—taking pride in maintaining beautiful grounds, anticipating needs, communicating well, and enjoying a long-term relationship with the family. Reliability, integrity, and a positive attitude are just as important as technical landscaping skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Landscape & Lawn Care

● Maintain all lawn areas through mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, and seasonal treatments.

● Keep landscape beds weed-free, neatly edged, and well-mulched.

● Monitor turf health and recommend improvements when appropriate.

Gardens & Horticulture

● Plant, prune, fertilize, deadhead, and maintain annuals, perennials, shrubs, ornamental trees, and container gardens.

● Design and maintain attractive seasonal flower displays.

● Monitor irrigation systems and ensure plants receive appropriate care.

● Identify and address plant diseases, pests, or other landscape concerns.

Estate Care

● Keep patios, walkways, driveways, outdoor furniture, and gathering areas clean and inviting.

● Perform seasonal cleanups, leaf removal, storm cleanup, and general property maintenance.

● Perform minor outdoor repairs and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
