Open Until Filled Job Summary:+ This is a variable hour position expected to work 30-40 hours per week, now through mid-October 2026, depending on weather and field schedule. + Maintain the playing surface by mowing, edging, fertilizing grass playing surface areas, maintaining skinned surfaces and edge areas. + Repair and maintain the game mound, home plate area, and bullpen mounds. + Tarp the field, top dressing, aerating, and general turf maintenance. + Assist with irrigation system monitoring and watering of the field as directed. + Maintain grass areas outside the playing surface by mowing, trimming, and edging. + Safely operate equipment such as 1 ton pickup with a dump box, mowers, trimmers, sod cutters, compactor, powered and non-powered hand tools, field liner, sprayer, blower, drags and sand pro. + Prepare the field completely for gamedays (mow, paint, pack, chalk, drag, bases, etc.). + Perform weed control, remove debris and garbage, report/correct vandalism. + Perform light carpentry repairs to field, fencing, dugouts, bleachers, etc. + Have excellent organizational & communication skills and a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion to be successful in the sports industry. + Be able to assess conditions, operate independently and complete tasks without supervision. + Assist in other grounds related projects as needed. (i.e. forestry, horticulture, playgrounds and other amenities). + Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Focus on details and commitment to doing a good job required. + Experience in field maintenance, painting, and repair. + Experience grounds maintenance, cleaning in a commercial setting preferred. + Ability to get along with district employees and be courteous and helpful with students and general public....
