Custodial Technician and Groundskeeper

Elegant Packaging is seeking a custodial technician and grounds keeper to support our production and maintenance team.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Providing a variety of landscape maintenance duties including watering, snow removal, mowing, weeding, and trimming

• Rake leaves and/or clear debris from walks, parking lots, and other open areas; pick-up trash and empty trash receptacles
• Operate light Grounds equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, lawn edgers, and snow blowers
• Assist with exterior window cleaning
• Changing lightbulbs
• Move and build furniture as needed
• Painting and other minor building projects
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
• Use industrial walk-behind floor scrubber
• Removes graffiti markings from walls and other surfaces

Work Environment

· Fast-paced manufacturing facility.

· Exposure to noise, moving machinery, lubricants, and varying temperatures.

· PPE required (hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, etc.).

· May require overtime, shift work, or on-call rotation.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
