Position Overview

We're looking for a motivated Consulting Arborist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, personable, and driven to help clients make smart, sustainable choices for their trees and landscapes. You'll diagnose plant health issues, create treatment plans, and build long-term relationships with commercial and residential clients across the Phoenix area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert tree and landscape health assessments
• Develop and present customized plant healthcare and weed management programs
• Collaborate with our PHC team to ensure top-quality service delivery
• Maintain detailed records of consultations, proposals, and client communications
• Participate in community and industry outreach to promote Adaptive's mission

Qualifications

• Degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Plant Science, or a related field
• ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire)
• Current Arizona resident strongly preferred — familiarity with the desert climate, native and non-native plant species, and working in extreme heat is essential to this role
• Strong understanding of desert tree species, soil biology, and plant health care
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Prior client base or book of business preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefit

• Compensation: Base salary based on experience + commission
• Typical earnings: $80,000 – $160,000+
