Construction Landscape Field Superintendent

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Field Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. Duties

• Lead daily on-site construction activities, supervising subcontractors, tradespeople, and vendors to ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plan
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Plangrid or similar construction management software to meet deadlines and milestones
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measures to stay within financial targets
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify accuracy and clarify project requirements
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA), building codes, and project specifications
• Manage contract compliance by reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope of work with crews and general contractors.
• Oversee safety protocols on-site by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting safety meetings to promote a safe working environment
• Utilize construction estimating tools like plan grid and procore for resource planning and procurement coordination
• Read and interpret technical schematics and construction plans accurately for effective execution

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site management, supervision, and team leadership
• Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore,Propertyintel, plan grid, and excel for scheduling
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and budgeting processes
• Familiarity with contracts management and negotiation skills with clients and subcontractors
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision
• Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and quality control procedures on construction sites
• Hands-on experience with pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, management, subcontractors, and field personnel
• Supervising experience in large-scale construction projects involving multiple teams or disciplines
• 3+ years of landscape and irrigation experience
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must be able to pass drug test
• Valid driver license
