Southern Acre is a family-owned commercial landscaping company based in Nashville, TN. We serve construction and maintenance clients throughout Middle Tennessee and are growing rapidly. We are looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Leader to help lead our field operations and grow with us long-term.

Position Overview

The Construction Crew Leader is responsible for leading a crew in all aspects of landscape construction while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who takes pride in leadership, craftsmanship, and representing a company well on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a landscape construction crew on commercial & residential job sites
• Perform and oversee work including, but not limited to:
• Operating heavy machinery and equipment
• Grading and site preparation
• Drainage installation
• Irrigation systems
• Outdoor lighting
• Hardscaping
• General landscaping and plant installation
• Read plans and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines
• Maintain job site safety and quality standards
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, and subcontractors
• Represent Southern Acre in a professional and respectful manner at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape construction (crew leadership experience preferred)
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $22–$27 per hour, depending on experience
