Camp Groundskeeper

Join the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada team as an Assistant Camp Ranger & Groundskeeper! This position supports the Camp Ranger in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming camp environment. You’ll help with grounds and facility upkeep, light repairs, janitorial tasks, and animal care—including horses and livestock.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain campgrounds and monitor facilities for safety and security.
• Assist with year-round maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks.
• Perform general housekeeping and site inspections after public use.
• Care for livestock and support horse health and training.
• Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports promptly.
• Uphold safety standards and serve as a positive role model for staff and participants.
• Foster community relations and assist with staff training and meetings.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum age 21 with valid Nevada driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying climates and lift up to 50 lbs.
