Part-Time Grounds Maintenance & Material Yard AssociatePosition Summary

We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Part-Time Grounds Maintenance & Material Yard Associate to help maintain our facility grounds and organize our material storage yard. This position is responsible for keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained throughout the year. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining an organized work environment, can work independently, and is comfortable performing physical labor in a variety of weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, and watering as needed.
• Control weeds in landscaped areas, fence lines, parking lots, and material storage areas.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, entrances, and other designated areas during winter months.
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris from the property to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Organize and maintain inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies in the material yard.
• Stack, move, and store materials safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment when applicable.
• Inspect grounds and yard regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including leaf removal, landscaping projects, and general upkeep.
• Perform basic maintenance on lawn and grounds equipment and report equipment repairs when needed.
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other general labor and facility maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
