Responsibilities

• Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal projects using proper techniques and safety protocols
• Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches safely and efficiently
• Support rigging operations by setting up ropes, pulleys, and other equipment to facilitate safe tree work
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general groundskeeping
• Utilize GIS (Geographic Information System) tools for mapping and documenting tree locations and health status
• Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, hand tools, and safety gear in excellent condition
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members

Skills

• Proven growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance with a strong interest in tree care
• Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and arboricultural best practices
• Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for elevated work tasks
• Familiarity with rigging procedures used in tree removal or pruning projects
• Basic understanding of GIS technology for mapping or data collection purposes
