Job Summary

The Supervisor of Grounds and Landscaping is responsible for overseeing the work of the landscaping, irrigation, and painting crews as they care for all the sites in Peoria Unified School District. The role involves creating plans, organizing the work of the teams, and ensuring that all campuses are safe, well maintained, and inviting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

generally include the following:+ Organize and supervise the grounds crews and inspect campuses regularly to evaluate the work of the teams and to ensure that fields and grounds meet the District Standard of Care. + Interview and recommend grounds applicants. + Establish performance measures, goals, objectives and priorities. Evaluate work performance. Provide feedback, direction and technical guidance. Advises personnel of new or revised policies and procedures. + Prepare plans and schedules for the care of the fields and share those plans with District staff. + Review the work order system regularly to ensure that assigned work orders are evaluated, updated, and completed in a timely manner. + Communicate with site administration to ensure the timely dissemination...
