Job Summary

: Performs a variety of grounds keeping and landscape maintenance functions for the athletic fields and grounds of the Peoria Unified School District (PUSD).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

generally include the following:+ Oversee and Coordinate Crew: - Lead to the grounds crew responsible for painting all sports fields, including softball, baseball, football, and soccer. - Ensure the crew follows proper procedures for field preparation and maintenance. - Assign daily tasks and oversee work quality. + Field Painting & Maintenance: - Ensure all sports fields are properly lined and painted according to regulations. - Maintain accuracy in field dimensions and markings. - Schedule and coordinate painting to meet game and practice requirements. + Equipment Oversight: - Inspect and maintain painting equipment, mowers, aerators, and other field maintenance tools. - Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any issues. - Coordinate with the supervisor for repairs and replacements. + Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with the supervisor to align field preparation with athletic schedules. - Communicate with coaches and administrators regard...
