Senior Landscape Architect/Designer, Project Manager (Full-Time)

H. T. Harvey & Associates, an ecological consulting firm based in Northern California, is looking for a collaborative and creative senior designer to join the landscape architecture group in our San Francisco Bay Area office (Los Gatos, Santa Clara County). This position is full-time and can accommodate a hybrid schedule that allows for a combination of remote and in-office work. This is not a remote position, as work in the office is anticipated at least twice per week, and client project site visits will be required. The anticipated pay range for this position is $98,500—$112,000 annually. Actual compensation within the range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Our Work

The landscape architecture group’s work focuses on restoring native habitats and creating nature experiences in open space, park, and business campus settings that are both engaging and educational. For example, our team:

• Spearheads the planning and design of a 9-acre park on the San Francisco Bay shoreline. The future park will encompass new tidal marsh and transition zone habitats and educate visitors about sea level rise and Bay ecology.
• Plays a key role in planning of outdoor spaces on business campuses, including design and construction oversight for native landscapes and multi-modal paths.
• Assists the City of San Jose’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services with planning, monitoring, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of mitigation projects.
