Enhanced Landscape Management (ELM) is a landscape industry leader in California and Nevada with over 600 employees. Our Maintenance Division offers comprehensive landscape care to a wide array of clients such as homeowner associations, commercial facilities, hospitality/resort, retail, office parks, high-end estates and public works. Our growth and expansion has created the immediate need to grow our team of dedicated professionals. We are seeking a talented and experienced business development professional for our Central & Northern California region (Bakersfield, Fresno, Sacramento) to lead local, landscape maintenance business development efforts.

We offer an industry-leading compensation package including uncapped earning potential through commissions paid quarterly on sales performance.

General Duties

· Develop sales leads by a combination of cold-calling and expanding upon existing client relationships

· Research local market and develop sales plan in order to reach sales goal

· Properly assess client needs and analyze what services should be proposed

· Estimate, propose and sell landscape maintenance services in the local service area

· Prepare sales presentation and organize events with prospects

· Take the lead on contract negotiations and sales presentations to potential clients

· Collaborate with operations staff on new maintenance estimates/proposals

· Attend and maintain relationships of industry organizations such as CAI, IREM, BOMA, etc.

· Track and report on sales progress on a weekly basis via CRM

· Plan activities to reach sales goals

Qualifications

· At least three years of experience in business-to-business sales in the commercial landscape maintenance industry with a track record of success in the Central and/or Northern California market areas

· Exhibit excellent communication skills – written and verbally
