Part-Time Groundskeeper - D'Ville & Riverview

Dville Village and Riverview Apartments in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, is looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week.

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: M-F, 8:00am - 1:00pm

*Position Summary:*

As a Groundskeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our properties are clean, safe, and inviting. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the grounds by picking up trash, cleaning hallways, assisting with trash-outs of vacated units, and even snow removal when needed.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

• Pick up trash on the grounds and keep the area tidy.
• Clean out hallways to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Assist with snow removal to maintain safety during winter months.
• Handle trash-outs of vacated units, which may include removing debris, furniture, and appliances, as well as performing minor repairs and painting.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Property Management team.

*Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:*

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than one year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively in small groups.
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve routine problems.
• Beginner computer skills.

• Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle tasks.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift 26-100 pounds....
