Mechanic Landscape Company

We are a full service landscaping company, located on Hilton Head Island, and we are in search of an in-house Small and Large Engine Mechanic.

4-5 years of experience is a big plus. Must have experience working on Stihl power equipment (i.e. weed eater, blower, chainsaws, pole saw, trimmers and etc.) as well as Large Mowers, and Fleet Trucks and Large construction Equipment.

The ideal candidate would be able to perform the following job responsibilities.

• Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with managers and foreman
• Repair Commercial Mowers, All 2-cycle Equipment.
• Repair Trailers, Electrical troubleshooting.
• Perform routine engine maintenance, such as: lubricating parts, oil changes, replacing/sharpening mower blades, replacing belts, replacing spark plugs and filters
• Service and Repair Fleet Trucks and Large Construction Equipment.
• Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used
• Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
• Replace truck and trailer tires
• Operate a two post vehicle lift
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
