Why this role exists

You lead a lawn care crew to deliver clean, efficient, and consistent service across a daily route, while coaching the team, maintaining equipment, and protecting the customer experience.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily route execution, assign tasks, and set the pace and quality standard
• Perform lawn maintenance services (mow, edge, trim, blow, detail) to Highridge standards
• Load, operate, and maintain mowers and handheld equipment safely
• Complete on-site quality checks, prevent property damage, and handle minor issues before they become callbacks
• Communicate delays, site issues, and client needs to the appropriate manager the same day
• Train and coach team members on efficient mowing patterns, trimming/edging quality, and safety
• Keep truck, trailer, and equipment clean, organized, and job-ready
• Identify enhancement opportunities and route them through the right internal channel for pricing and follow-up

What we’re looking for

Must-haves

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care (lead experience preferred)
• Strong operational mindset, reliable, organized, and able to run a daily route
• Strong communication skills with crew, clients, and managers
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend/kneel, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Must be 21+ with a valid U.S. driver’s license that meets insurance and company driving standards

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience with route-based production and quality control
• Spraying or fertilizer application experience (license a plus)
