Job Summary

Performs cleaning in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods to ensure a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Position Specific Requirements

Performs All Assigned Tasks in a Professional manner in Order to Reflect the Highest Integrity of the Department.

Maintains Flexibility with Schedule to Meet the Needs of the Facility.

Completes Work Assignments in a Timely Manner and Completes Assigned Work within a Designated Time.

Wears Identification While on Duty, Uses the Computerized Punch Time System Correctly and Additional Time Keeping Systems as Required by the Department.

Power washing

Trimming Edges

Parking Lot/Side Walk clean-up

Mowing Lawn

Raking rock & Leaves.

Routine Cleaning of machinery. Daily Returns machinery to Storage Area at the End of Shift. Reports any needed Equipment Repairs.

Trimming Trees

Trimming Shrubs.

Empty Waste Baskets, Removes Trash and Cleans Ashtrays.

Remove Weeds from Rock.

Weed Spraying.

Cleans Entrances, Lobbies and Ancillary Areas.

Transportation of Waste from all areas to the Designated Holding Area.

Spot Clean Grounds Routinely

Perform Daily Cleaning of grounds Using Equipment as Assigned.

Carries a Pager as Assigned and Responds to Pages with Routine use of Phone. Returns Pager at the End of Shift. (As Needed)

Assists in Cleaning of Emergency Spills as Requested.

Responds to all Facility Related Requests in a Timely Manner.

Clean Areas Outside of the Perimeter of Hospital/Facility to include Public Entrances and Walkways.

Keeps Grounds Cart Cleaned and Stocked Prior to Shift and at the End of the Shift.
