Landscape Technician

The Landscape Technician beautifies our properties through project based landscape tasks including new landscape/hardscape installations and refreshing existing landscape beds

Roles and Responsibilities

• Basic horticultural tasks that may include shrub, flowerbed or turf.
• New landscape/hardscape installation projects as directed.
• Planting of groundcovers, trees, shrubs and sod.
• Assist with pruning of small trees, shearing shrubs or ground covers, and deadheading/weeding of beds.
• Operate a variety of landscape equipment and tools.
• Perform minor sprinkler repairs as needed
• Operate motorized vehicles and wear appropriate personal protection equipment.

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge and Education

• Experience in general landscape maintenance and grounds keeping tasks
• Knowledge of operation for power driven equipment and variety of manual tools.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices (including proper pesticide application and heavy equipment/machinery techniques).
• Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM; times may fluctuate based on seasonal conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• All the primary duties are completed in an outdoor environment.
